Shared Space for Simcoe CountY ARTISTS

We have 1650 s/f available at 1148 Snowvalley Dr. Unit 3 and we thought it would make an awesome arts space!! So we present this vision to you, the artists of Simcoe County to garner feedback and maybe even commitment to take a spot once created.

The space will include 10-12 8×10 studios spaces with sliding barn doors and an open ceilings, a kitchen, bathroom, utility sinks and a lounge. See conceptual floorpans below. Through collaboration with Canopy and Community Builders, we would take on the initial costs to build it out and help with marketing.

THE BIG ASK! We need a commitment from at least 10 artists to be the early adopters/founders of this community and someone or a couple to manage its operations as their own creative startup. Asking lease of the space is around $1800/mth and with a full space of artists you could see anywhere between $3000-$4000 a month in rent from members.

It’s just an open space right now, so we’re just looking for those who would be interested in this vision. We are also looking for someone to rent and run the Co-Arts space. We would build, market and mentor, but do not want to run the opperations.
